A dual-purpose, precocious apple. Fruit both stores well and is also suitable for fresh-eating, salads, desserts, and baking. Crisp, fine-grained fruits have a sweet-tart, white flesh — one of the best pie apples. Compact trees bloom early and large-sized fruit ripens late. A Jonathan x Wagener cross. Cold-hardy. Ripens in October.
